Re: Wedding Night location
We were debating about this for so long. But since we have to be at the airport by 6am the next morning, we decided to go back to our house on our wedding night. That will be our first night in our new home....we thought it would be the best place to be!!!!

Re: Wedding Night location
Marriot Uniondale-then had brunch with a bunch of our guests that stayed there too. It was not planned that way, but it worked out great.

It was fine. Nothing spectacular. We only stood there because a friend of mine got us a really discounted rate. It's a typical NYC hotel - the plus is that it's right in the middle of Times Square so it's close to all. http://www.themusehotel.com/

Re: Wedding Night location
Great thread... I was wondering where to stay also and I was interested in the Inn at East Wind. So, I just called and they said the Ambassador suite is: $499
Isn't that really expensive!?!?!?!??!?!

Re: Wedding Night location
We went to the Ritz Carlton in battery park.
Our room overlook the harbor and Lady Liberty and it was just so nice. There was champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us and the butler came and made a rose petal bath. There were all sorts of lotions and body oils and petals leading to the bed with music playing in the background.
It was definitely a stretch of the wallet, but well worth it. Here is a pic of me standing in front of the window. Look at the view! It was beautiful!
We have a complimentary night at the Inn at Fox Hollow. It's a basic suite, nothing spectacular, but it comes with a complimentary dinner buffet (like we'll be hungry after the wedding!) and a complimentary full breakfast buffet.
I love free stuff!
