Wedding night question...
I've been thinking... Do you think it's a waste of money for us to spend $270 for a Bridal Suite on our wedding night? Our reception doesn't end until 12:00am. I just don't see us needing such an expensive room for that night? Of course I want to, but if we're not going to be there that long. It has a jacuzzi in the room, which my fiance likes, but we most likely won't be getting to the room until real late. What do you think?

Wedding night question...
First off, I hope it is not the Holiday Inn, Because my sister spent her wedding nite there and it had a Jacuzzi and there were roaches all over the place. She also told me that you are so tired after the wedding that all you want to do is sleep. I was trying to deceide if my fiancee and I should go into NYC over night before we left for our honeymoon, and I think we are going to stay overnight at home.

Wedding night question...
We thought about getting a suite, booked it, and then canceled and booked a regular room for the reasons you mentioned. After all our goodbyes and things, we got to the hotel after 1:00am, and all we did was open some of our cards and fall asleep. For us, it would have been a waste of money for the suite. Some people are really pumped up after such a long and exciting day, and they would benefit from the suite. It's your choice in the end. : )

Wedding night question...
We also booked a suite, then canceled it. We just booked a regular King Size Room for the night since we'll be getting to the hotel late and we have to be out early the next morning. Good luck!

Wedding night question...
tough call, but I would say to ditch the expensive room since you're probably going to be too tired to enjoy in anyway, and put the money toward something extra on your honeymoon that you really will enjoy like a fancy dinner or something like that!

I say go for it! It is your wedding night! $270 isn't a lot! *NM*

We were so exhausted
it didn't matter what the room was like -- as long as it had a bed to sleep!

We were so exhausted
we too were sooo exhausted. we had a jacuzzi in our room and had to force ourselves to get into it - I think we even may have fallen asleep for a few minutes to rest. :)

We were so exhausted
we went back to our apartment. We were not leaving for our honeymoon untill Tuesday. but we just sat around and opened our gifts and ate leftover pizza because we were soooo hungry and tired. but we took the money we were going to spend on a hotel and took a limo to the airport..much more fun...

I wouldn't pay that for the Holiday Inn
If its the one I'm thinking of, my mom went by there to check it out and wouldn't let me use it for our guests.

The one she stayed in was nice just roachy... Probably not that one, I have to talk to her about this.... she complained and wrote a nasty letter and they ended up getting gift certificates, but 2 years later and she will never forget it

Wedding night question...
The first two hours all the two of you are going to do is sit on the bed..get the glasses out..pour champagne..get your list of guest out...and open those envelopes!!!! How romantic..then you'll laugh at the amount of money and gifts that you will get in those envelopes..My cousin gor married a year ago tomorrow and on their wedding night stayed at the Holiday inn in Plainview..or there about..and opened the envelopes..somebody gave him BASEBALL CARDS that they said will be worth money when his great-grand children get older....Go figure...Welcome New Vendors
