my fiancee and I are planning a wedding for 6/19/05 which happens to be Fathers DAy. My parents think no one will come and I disagree. Does anyone know someone who got married on Fathers DAy? If so, did the holiday affect the turnout? Please help! Thanks!

I am getting married this year on Father's Day and I think it is a nice way to bring family's together on Father's Day. If you have a lot of families coming, they will be able to celebrate your wedding and have a nice time for Father's Day.
I am planning on having a special father/daughter dance at my wedding for all of the dad's and their daughters (aside from my dance with my dad)

My brother was married this past fathers day, all who were invited came. It did not stop anyone from having a blast!!!

People will definitely come to the Wedding. Father's Day is a great day.. but it's not like Christmas, Thanksgiving or even my Birthday!!! haha..

I think people will go to your wedding. For some reason Father's day isn't as big a deal as say Mother's day.
ETS - everyday is probably something to someone. Two of our guests celebrated their anniversary on our wedding day and another guest's daughter turned 3 that day. They were all there!!

Well I am getting married on Valentine's Day, and I thought it would affect the turnout. According to our responses, it will be a full house :) Go for it....anyone who wants to be there, WILL :)
