Wedding on the Water.....

Any suggestions of weddings with a water view on long island that can accomodate 250+ ?

Not that I would recommend them based of their service and horrific people, but I think that Lombardi's on the Sound can accomodate that #....

Maybe Land's End, Crescent Beach Club, or the Lessings halls: particularly West Sayville?

Good Luck

Land's End can accomodate 300 people
Crescent Beach Club can accomodate a lot of guests too (sorry don't know exact capacity)...between the two LE impressed me so much more though!! (A little biased over here lol).

I was unsure if Lands' End could accomodate...now that it is confirmed,...you must go there....it blows away Lombardi's, and is directly on the water. I couldn't meet their minimum, and I am partial to the North Shore...but Land's End is incredible.

Have you considered Nautical Cruise Lines In Freeport NY.. you can have a wedding on the yacht.. which is composed of 3 floors.. one being outside! Its very large! They have a sepeate cocktail room from the reception room and do a wonderful job on the ceremony if you need to ( which is also seperate ). Im booked there actally for a 6/20/09 wedding...

I'm sorry that you had a bad experience w/ them but the people were fastastic and the serivce was exceptional. We had a fantastic wedding there.

I would absolutely recommend them, but I'm not sure if they can accommodate 250 people.

CLM can do 250 tops in the big room - WOTY was about that two years ago and it was fine, tad bit snug in the ch room - but if you have warm weather you can do outside as well.

can I say that I love doubleplays pic!! so cute. . half of out school has gotten married at crescent (reagan, trocc) others too.. my friend got married at lombardis and there was no issues. venitian there is more than one party and the cocktail hour is in the same room as the reception and it is only a dock not a beach.. my cousin was married there. welcome to the club!!

VYC definitely holds 250 cause my brothers wedding was there and he had 250. I also like giorgios. it is not directly on the water, but they have a golf cart limo that takes u to the beach through the parking lot to take pictures. The other side is a golf course.
