Wedding Organizer

Original post by NapaValleyGirl

Hi Everyone,

Just got back from Barnes and Noble and was so confused by all of the different wedding organizers. I don't necessarily think 'the bigger the organizer, the better.' Just wanted to check in before I spent $$ on something that is bulky and not helpful.

I was just wondering if any of you had any tips on what organizer worked for you!!

Thanks in advance!

i used 'The Ultimate Wedding Planner' (or organizer???) It's baby blue with file folders attatched to the back....i loved it!!! Still have it and still go back to it for friends and fam that are tieing the knot :) Brought it everywhere with me...couldn't have been as organized without it!

i bought a 3 ring binder and then printed the guide from Blissweddings.com
got some organizers with pockets and used folders from the showcases.

i also put articles from magazines in it.

That guide from blissweddings is great!!! I def plan on printing out alot of those pages and putting them in the binder!

Thanks!!!

I just use a 3-ring binder, printed section dividers and plastic sleeves! Best organizer ever!!

There is nothing in those books that you can't get from this site (or anywhere else online). Don't spend your money. I just put all my ideas, photos, contacts, swatches, samples, etc in the binder, and as I change my mind on things, it is so easy to replace.

I agree 100%
I printed out my to do & check list from this site & questions to ask vendors from Blissweddings.com

Re: Wedding Organizer

my parents used to own a wedding planning store. She used to give out these... Wedding organizer

it is the best. there is not BS stuff in there. just pages where you can list the payments for each vendor. They even are pocketed so that you can put your contracts wiht each vendor page.
