Wedding Party Drama... isn't this supposed to be a happy time?

Long story short... one of my best friends decided she hates me now, and left her dress on my front stoop. Seriously? Who does that?

Then, my fiance's best man decided he was going to move to Texas and not come to the wedding. On top of that, the BM was the only guy in FHs wedding party... lucky for FH the same day the best man dropped out, he actually FINALLY asked three other guys to be in it.

Are we really sucky friends? What the hell man...

omg! This is terrible! Did your friend give you an explanation like why she hates you now? That's pretty messed up. I'm sorry :(

This is unfortunate, but it seems like they really aren't your friends. I wouldn't want anyone ruining my wedding day.

She was making fun of my MOH and her mother because she doesn't like them so much, I asked her to stop and she didn't. I had enough and I raised my voice but immediately apologized afterwards... and that was that.

I don't even see why she would get mad at you..she was the one being rude..maybe she'll come around and realize what she did was wrong.

You really don't need that type of drama in your already stressed life with all the planning and stuff. It sounds like your best friend is mad/jealous that she wasn't the MOH - that could be the real reason why she is being like that! Hopefully, she comes around if she really is a friend!

So sorry that happened to you! They obviously weren't really good friends if they are acting like this. And you did nothing wrong asking your friend to stop making fun of your MOH. Totally uncalled for. You don't need that drama.

honestly, would you rather have someone like that in your bridal party making things miserable? Maybe this is a blessing in disguise... when the morning of your wedding comes, you won't have to worry about drama between the MOH and that girl now and you can relax and have a nice morning getting ready with those who genuinely want to be there for you :)

I agree with everyone on this! I had my MOH drop out at well. I no longer speak to her at all. And, it was a blessing in disguise. Everything has been much more peaceful now and everyone in my bridal party gets along now. I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulder.

I am sorry you are going through this. As others have said, weddings are huge stress and really tests those involved with the wedding. You want those around you who love and support you through this time. I am dreading that their may be a potential issue with my bridal party, but so far its holding together!

Weddings bring out the best and worst in people. Just be glad it was now instead of later and in three months when your wedding is here, it will be a distant memory. You still have time to include some others who might be thrilled to be in the party OR keep it small and happy.
