wedding party favors
I am giving out CD's of wedding songs as favors, my question is what is the best and easiest way to give them out. Should I put a CD on every persons plate as they come into the reception, or should I have them in a basket as everyone departs? any suggestions?

Can't say for sure but I would put on each place setting if you want to make sure everyone takes one. I think a lot of people may miss it or forget it if you leave it up to the guests to get it.

I went to a wedding that had CDs as party favors. What they did was make up little tags with everyone'sname (or couples name) and tied them onto the CD. It really dressed it up. It was more work but a very nice presentation.

I like that, so each CD had every individual or couples names on it, that would even help me significantly decrease the amount of CD's I have to give out, and with 250 people, every one helps. Now, how did she tag them?

She typed up everyone's names after she received the response cards on nice thick paper with a pretty font. She then cut them into rectangles and punched a hole in them to put it ont he ribbon. She then tied the ribbon around the CD and the catering hall put them on the correct tables. It dressed up the tables nicely.

another question, did she put them directly on the plates or in the middle of the table, because otherwise did it feel like there were specified seating if directly on the plate?

She put them on the tables and everyone picked them up and gave them to who they belonged to. It actually worked at nice it opened up conversation on my table. We all introduced ourselves and had a nice chat. It became a conversation piece. My fiance and I did not know anyone but the bride and her imidiate family.Welcome New Vendors
