Is anyone else regretting asking certain people to be part of there wedding party yet??
This is my only move I regret so far. I asked the girls to be in my wedding party sooo long ago and things are changing. I am not sure what to do. One of them I have not even spoken to in 6 months. My MOH and I are growing apart. Sometimes I love her and other times she drives me crazy. HELP!!!!

I have had similar feelings. It is so amazing how things can change so fast without even seeing it coming. It has sort happened so far with one of my BMS. We are not as close as we once were after 1 particular incident and now I kind of regret it.

Re: Wedding Party Regrets ??
At times I have regreted asking my MOH (so much I posted a legnthy vent post about her a couple of months ago). She lives out of state which is fine but is just not into the 'wedding thing.' When I tell her I am going to make petal cones or 'We Do' letters she has literally said 'that's so gay.' And not she isn't a 12 year old boy just not a girly girl. She just isn't into the wedding stuff. She was the same way with both of her sisters so I don't take it personally.
Other than that everthing else is fine but I GUARANTEE you that my shower coordinating process is going to be a disaster. Of the 6 girls only 1 is relaible.

Re: Wedding Party Regrets ??
None here. I'm happy to say I love everyone in my BP. I'm just a bit bummed that one of my friends had to drop out because her god son is making his communion on our day, and she'll be in Vegas for that. Haven't found a replacement either. Not sure I will. So that leaves me with 3 BM's and my MOH. Not soo bad I guess. I'm happy with everyone though!

Yes I am & I am still trying to figure out if I should ask her not to be in it. But with my clock looking like this: BEANS Wedding Countdown 9 Days 22 Hours 44 Minutes 35 Seconds
I am not sure if it is wise. Although I can feel the tension already since she doesn't talk to anyone anymore. She doesn't respond to my emails & she hasn't gone for her 2nd dress fitting yet-oh & she responded a week late to the wedding. So I really just don't know.

Re: Wedding Party Regrets ??
I do about my current roommate who is one of the BM -- we are drifting apart on so many issues.....BM dress, her lack of responsibilities in paying the bills in time (I give her my portion but her name is on the bill), her bringing home a party at 3 AM on Mon evening??

Re: Wedding Party Regrets ??
I immediately regretted asking FH's sister into the party. Luckily, she stepped down from her position as a BM after I give her a long list of her financial responsibilities. I knew she wasn't in a position to contribute all that money and it worked! To make things even better, she had no idea I changed my mind b/c I casually brought up the money issue to her, so no feelings hurt and no bad blood. I suggest using the money issue; you never know, they may back down. Good luck!!!

Re: Wedding Party Regrets ??
I am waiting bc the same thing happened to one of my friends..she asked the girls 1.5 years in advance, and 2 have dropped out- very dissapointing to my friend...one of the girls told her in an email the night before her shower!!!
My advice would be to have a heart to heart w/ your friend...ask her if she honestly enjoys being in the bp, and ask her to think about it, bc if she doesn't enjoy it, you'd rather her tell you than dred her responsibilities to you!

Re: Wedding Party Regrets ??
same here.. having problems with 2 BMs and its sad to say they are both really great friends.. we had a dispute and havent been talking to them for a few months. FH didnt agree with me making the first move on talking to them again after what they did. im torn between keeping them in the BP and having an argument with FH or asking them to step down, but i had already asked them as soon as we got engaged last year.

I am w/ you on this one. My two cousins are in my wedding party and we barely speak unless our families are together. I wish that I had waited a little longer to ask people but when I 1st got engaged I was to excited I really didn't think it out.

Re: Wedding Party Regrets ??
None here. Which is exactly why I only asked my sister, and close friend since elementary school to be my MOH's, and FH's sister to be a BM only b/c she's his sister( I could care less if she dropped out, but I know she wouldn't).. No family, and no friends I've ever had a lapse in between friendships
I've seen it soo many times where people get so happy about a wedding the need to ask everyone of their friends, and family to be in the wedding. Whether its b/c the wedding party is uneven or someone dropped out, or just b/c your my friend or family. Not the case w/ me.You being there attending my wedding is a ok w/ me. But in order to take part in it, we have to have history, you have to have seen my ups,and my downs, to experience this day w/ me. Those are the people that i know won't let me down, b/c they were there then, and they should be there now
