Can anyone tell me of any parks that have a nice view of NYC? me and fh would like to take pics after the ceremony at a park with a nice view of NYC. I havent started looking into this yet. But i figured I'd ask you girls first...since you're always so helpful!...

You should go to Astoria Park .... they have a great view of NYC !!!!!! Look into it !!!!!!!!!!!

yea i have heard of gantry park... there is also dumbo park in brooklyn..

go to gantry park in LIC, you have an amazing view of the city
astoria park does too but you do have a better view of the city from gantry park. Plus with gantry park you can take pics around the park and you'll still have the NYC skyline. In astoria park you have to go across the street from where the strip is to take pics of the view and go into the park and its uphill and not the same. I took epics and wedding pics at gantry park.

Roosevelt Island has a great view of the city too. Thats where we took ours. You can check it out in my review on the Brides Review board.

ok i think you get the point hahahaha. Theres also grassy area and the pics come out great, pepsi cola sign and other things around where you can take pics

there is a park in brooklyn between the brooklyn bridge and the manhattan bridge and it is one of my favorite spots in the whole world ... dumbo brooklyn ... http://www.brooklynbridgepark.org/. i love going right under the brooklyn bridge (there is an ice cream place and this amazing pizza place named grimaldis over there yummy!)

you definitely should. If you want you can go to this restaurant called riverview, its DIRECTLY across the street from gantry park, the food is real good and has outdoor seating. This way it gives you and your FH something to do. Or you can even just go to the park and have a picnic and walk around. Theres also a small area where you can sit and eat, maybe get sandwiches and just hang out in the park.
