Re: WEDDING PLACES

Congrats and Welcome to LIW!!

I have heard of Jericho Terrace, but I do not remember what it looks like. I must of been there once. Not much help with that one.

You can try Lands End, Majestic Gardens which is nice as well.

If I think of any other's I will let you know.

Jericho Terrace is definitely a beautiful place and the food is good. I've been there a few times for various parties and have never heard any complaints. Floral Terrace also has a beautiful room but its not really high...

Re: WEDDING PLACES

I went to a wedding 2 weeks ago at Jericho Terrace. The room that we were in did not have really high ceilings bc it was on the bottom floor. I believe that have a room called the 'Dome Room' don't quote me here. It has a glass dome ceiling and is really beautiful.

Fox Hollow's Winter Garden Pavillion has beautiful vaulted ceilings as does the rooms at the Estate at East Wind.

The ballroom at Floral Terrace is gorgeous. The ceilings aren't high but incredible. Bands/DJ's love it their bc the sound quality is outstanding. It used to be an old theatre before they converted it into a catering hall.

Venetian Yacht Club has high ceilings with floor to ceiling windows that look out on to the Great South Bay. I had to give them a shout. That's my RH

Hope this helps!!
Welcome & good luck

Re: WEDDING PLACES

Do you know of anyone that has had their wedding at Venetian recently? I checked it out yesterday and out of the four waterview places I saw I liked that the best. I just want to find out someone that has had a recent experience there since it went through a different management.

Jericho Terrace is beautiful and the food is incredible! Lots of places to take pictures, inside and out, which was important to me and my FH in case it rains on our wedding day. Good luck!

I have to completely agree about the Venetian Yacht Club, but June 15, 2007 is already taken.

Jericho Terrace is a beautiful place. Another place that has a high ceiling room and and outside feel is the Fox Hollow. They have the Winter Garden Pavillion which is where I'm having mine. The ceiling has beautiful skylights with chandeliers hanging from it, there are flowers going all around the inside, there is a fire place and water fall in the room too. Good Luck and Welcome!!
