So, we are seriously contemplating hiring a wedding planner, or coordinator, or whatever they're called. We really have no idea where to start, and don't have referrals from any friends. Anyone here have a referral and, if possible, an estimated price?
We want more than just a 'DOC', and are really looking for someone we can describe our vision to and have them make it happen. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!

Francesca from Dazzling Affairs was my DOC. She does do a varying level of services from DOC to full wedding planning. She was a godsend at my October wedding. She has lots of experience and before doing wedding planning she was a banquet manager for at least 10 years. I highly recommend her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've read alot of girls used Elaine DeLuca...What does the DOC do? are they involved throughout or just that day??

Lots of DOC's also vary their services up to planning entire weddings, although it costs more money ( I've seen around a couple thousand). So you could check with DOC's who do this. I highly recommend Laura from LA Productions.She is my DOC but I also know that she can do your wedding start to finish. Good Luck.
