I want to buy a notebook / binder to keep track of the wedding ideas I'm clipping out of magazines. What are you guys using? Scrapbooks? Photo albums with sticky pages? Thanks.

Re: Wedding Planner / Notebook
I bought one of those lil filing things...not sure the exact name for it....it has a string around it that holds it closed and when you open it theres like 15 different sections...they have them everywhere just drawing a blank as to the real name of it
I have a three subject notebook. 1-Vendors 2- Budget 3- Misc (hair, nails, bp gifts, ect.)
Then I have a 15 pocketfold all labeled and all contracts, pics, and reciepts are in it.
(the color of the notebook and the pocketfold match )

My mom purchased me 'The Ultimate Wedding Planner' from Barnes and Noble. Its very useful..binder and folders inside. It even has a biz card holder, hole puncher and a few little extras. I love it :)

I bought a 3 ring binder and a large pack of clear sheet protectors. I put all contracts, ideas, vendors, everything with me and took it around when I went to visit vendors or places. I had many compliements about how organized I was...Go figure cause I never feel that way

I got a folio type thing at staples for like 2 bucks... its purple & clear and its got like 10 folders in it...it flaps over and closes with a small rubber thing that ties around a knob... sorry for the poor explination!! Its great b/c I have all my vendors in a different file...and its the size of a folder only like 2 inches thick.

This is what I used. I think they are called accordian files (not sure). You can label each section and stick your ideas in there. I also got like a little journal type note book to write stuff down on..which fits into one of the sections.

Re: Wedding Planner / Notebook
I have a huge 3 ring binder which I got from work. I then purchased from staples, clear business card holders and colorful pocketed dividers & voila! a planner!
For everyday use I keep with me a small notebook and a tiny folder of copies I may need throughout that day. If need be, I can make a copy of what I jot down in my notebook and insert it in the binder. It works great!

Re: Wedding Planner / Notebook
I went the cheaper way and made my own using a standard (big) 3 ring binder from staples with the clear front for putting our eng photos there. And clear pockets for putting my receipts and such. Also there is a 3 ring calculator to keep in your binder and a bus. card holder that has 3 rings. TRUST me it will be your bible once you make it. I go nowhere without it.

I have the 'Ultimate Wedding Planner' book too. And I also made a binder with a bunch of folders for each vendor. I put all my payment schedules, samples, receipts in there. I also want to make a scrapbook when I have time. I want to put all my clippings, pictures etc in it.
