I'm planning to hire a wedding planner but my fiancee feels its unnecessary. He told me he talked to his friends and they said it was a waste of money. I dont have married friends and I'm not sure how to handle wedding planning.
Did or are you using a wedding planner. What are the pros and cons of using a planner and can this all be done on my own? please help!

I agree with the rest of the girls, if you are looking for an over the top wedding then go for it, but you'll be surprised with how much you can do on your own and how little control you are willing to give other people! lol
Start planning and don't take on too many things at once and you will be ok. Tackle one vendor at a time, that will help you keep your sanity!

Planning your own wedding is fun and you can refer to this site for questions it helped me alot but you shoudl hire a DOC this is very important in this way you get to enjoy your day. I used Christine from Exquisite Affairs Productions she is wonderful and a vendor on here.

My RH provided me with one, but I haven't used her. I don't think it's necessary.
