Wedding Planning at a Screaching Hault!!!!!

Ok Chicas...I do not know if I'm the only going through this....and w/ this heat.....I'm about to Freak OUt.

ok....so as soon as i got engaged the wedding planning began we have booked everything except for the flowers...SO.... I HAVE NOTHING TO DO and its driving crazy.

I've tried DYI but i don't have time...I've done everything including my guestlist....i can't find what else to obsess about.

Am i going LOCA??? or is this happening to many of you?

Wellive been pretty much done for awhile now. I still have the small things so ive been checking things out pertainignto those things. R u completely done or do u still have small things like BM/GM gifts invites etc.????

I hear ya. I finished early to...now I am worried that I am going to start buying a lot of extra crap just because I have so much time...lol Plus, most of my DIY are on hold since I cant quite finish programs until church stuff is all finalized and place cards have to wait til rsvp...blah blah...

I am happy that we finished booking all vendors already. My work schedule just started to get very demanding and I really need my free time to relax - plus FH and I can use what little free time we have going to the gym instead!

I have done only a few big things so I feel the opposite. I have much to do and just no motivation to get it done-lol! MOTIVATE ME LADIES!

Isn't this summer pretty damn busy? I thought things would be slow with the economy like it is. I haven't left my office before 10:30 pm since I got back from my fellowship!

I feel the exact same way that you do! All my major vendors are booked and my guestlist is done and i feel like there's nothing left to do. Everytime someone asks me how the wedding plans are going i just say uhhhh they're going ok. lol

wow, your date is 2 days after mine, and I have nothing booked except my RH... LOL maybe I should get on the ball??

We just finished purchasing the bridal party gifts, the invitations are ordered....i need very minor things that can wait.....but i'm pretty much done....I'm ready to go

i did the same thing and NOW 5 months away im FREAKING at all that i ahve to get done in such a short amt of time.

Well.....everyone i know is having a bbq.....every weekend we're scheduled for a bbq and it is not helping my weight loss....it is pretty dam busy

Well just get your butt on the beach & enjoy!!! lol i only have invites & BM/GM gifts left. I think im finishing off them in the next month though i think i found what i love!

You're not alone...I'm on what I call my 'wedding break' right now. i've booked all my vendors, bought my dress, slected my BM dress, i did my guest list, shower guest list, m,ailed out my STD's, even bought some ceremony and reception items.

I have a few more things I'm looking to buy but nothing pressing...nothing really to obsess about....

hi girls i hope you dont mind me posting... im getting married in 3 days and i too experiened that!!! ive been engaged for about 23 months and i too did what every girl does when she gets engaged.. PLAN PLAN PLAN right away!!!!!!!! so i planed everything and was pretty much done in well.. 6 months but then ihad nothing to do so i kept looking and looking and well i ended up changing my mind about EVERYTING so i started over.. took me about another 6 months.. so here i was done again and still had almost a year to go.. so i sat back and went to school and did NO wedding planning IT WAS GREAT!!!! Enjoy your time now cuz when you get to about 6 months to the wedding things start going CRAZY!!!!! so no worried enjoy your down time while you have it!!

If theres anything you girls need please dont hesitate to send a FM!!!!
