Wedding planning blahs

I'm experiencing a huge case of the BLAHS. A lot of you are getting married after me and have more done. I have done nothing. And I mean nothing. I'm really dragging my feet about booking everything. I think I'm going to do the same as Junie and throw this big wedding stuff out the window. I'm having second, third and fourth thoughts about shelling out all this money. FH and I have been talking and he prefers something small and intimate. Of course he's told me that before but it went in one ear and out the other. I was caught up in the whole fairytale wedding. But now that I think about it, we'll still be together in any case & it would save us a crap load of money.

You do what you want to do because like you said its YOUR wedding and its what will make you the happiest in life. A lot of people realize AFTER the wedding that in some cases the true meaning can be lost in the whoopla of planning when the truth is, it always comes down to only two people.
