Wedding planning not fun.

Is there anyone who thought that wedding planning would be this great ol' time, and then now realize that it's not that fun at all?

I always love it because I love planning parties but the times that I didn't like it was when we were trying to decide on vendors.

I agree. That's why I'm really glad we have a long engagement. I'm only doing 1 vendor at a time, with months in between, for sanity

I'm sure our feelings will change as it gets closer, and we get all excited

It's a lot of work and money. I agree, it's not easy picking vendors. When I first became engaged, I was sad because I didn't think I'd have enough $ to have a wedding. Now I wish I was putting all the $ towards the down payment on a house!

I have to say that I love it, at least so far I do. Every one tells me to enjoy it and don't stress over the little stuff. You always have to take a step back and look at the big picture.

No because I love planning everything for our wedding. I'm not too stressed out yet its just all fun.

I tend to stress over the littlest things.. but I happen to be enjoying the planning.. and I am doing it little by little so that I don't want to kill myself!!!

I have to say it's better than I thought it would be. I was expecting to be a lot more stressed than I am.

I think it stresses me more financially than the actual planning does. The thought of spending 30-40K for five hours still doesn't sit well with me. I just set goals to have certain vendors booked by a certain date and it has been working out. We'll have to see how this plays out as we get closer to the date.

Don't let too much get to you and try to find areas you enjoy most and focus on that

I love all of the planning!! It could be due to my long engagement. I took my time planning one thing at a time. Just take it one vendor at a time. Some are more fun then others.

I love the planning, it's the money stress that drives me bonkers. I figure after I am done w/the wedding planning I am going to work on planning something else just as hard.

sorry i cant agree,, Yes its wayyyyy wayyyyy wayyyyy stressfull fiancially , but aside from that , every time i have to do something wedding related its gets me into a good mood,, I havent done much other than 'look & book' but still its fun & exciting,,

i cant wait,, & honestly thanx god i have a fh who loves to do things, other wise it would be just me & my mom , & i see some girls complaing their fh dont go places with them , Id be very upset,,

please he came with me for the makeup trail;,,

he's what started this whole roller coaster ,,

I honestly have had a pretty easy time planning. I think its becauseI have soo much time ahead and my vendors have been sweet. That doesnt mean something wont go wrong as it draws closer

I love when we find time to plan!!! I wish my FH and I had more time and easier schedules, but as many of you, coordinating things can be difficult, but I LOVE when I get to plan stuff!!

It can be stressful at times, but not in a bad way like work stresses me out! I personally LOVE planning!! Yes it is expensive, but I knew that when I when into this whole thing otherwise I would have had a smaller wedding. I loved chosing my vendors (so far) because when it's the one, you know and it make me so happy!

Most of the time I love it but there are times that I'm just not in the mood. So far it hasn't been too stressful...We still have a lot of things to plan so ask me in a year and let's see if my answer changes LOL. I honestly thought it would be a lot easier than it actually is.

Today I'm not feeling that it's fun...too many decisions that require too much money!!!!! I am happy though to be marrying my FH

I think if I had limitless amounts of money, then it would be fun. Maybe as it draws closer I'll become more enthused. I'm happy to hear, however, that there are some girls just loving it!
