Has anyone gone there to look at BM dresses? What kind of experience did you have?
Thanks!

Re: Wedding Plaza in Floral Park
We got BM dresses there for my best friend's wedding a couple of years ago. It went well! There were 5 of us girls, and we picked out like 20 dresses to try on. Then two of us tried on the 20 dresses, we narrowed it down to 3 dresses, then the other girls tried on those. The staff was very patient with this whole process (we totally wanted to just get it all done in one day, and we did! Score!) and the subsequent alterations were done there too. No issues, no complaints, and I will be looking there when it comes to the BM dresses for our wedding.

a few years ago i was in my cousins wedding and we got our BM dresses here. They really messed up the alterations of our dresses (mine and my sisters). After spending like $150 dollars (each) on alterations with them we ended up having to take the dress somewhere else to get fixed like 3 days before the wedding which cost us more $$

I have to say one thing is that they don't fawn over you there. They are a bit hands-off when it comes to things and they don't 'oooh and ahhh' over the dresses. (My friend tried on wedding gowns there too on another occasion).
Personally, I like that approach. I don't need someone blowing smoke up my @ss! So just keep in mind that they are a bit more cut-and-dry with their approach than some other places.

Re: Wedding Plaza in Floral Park
I had a really bad experience with them. I was a bridesmaid last year and she got the dresses from there.
First time i went she took my measurements with a sweatshirt and jeans on, i was like my size will be wrong, and shes like oh no i just take a couple inches off after, fine, weird whatever.
I go back for the dress and it was huge, literally fell off of me. She was like well you lost weight. (at the time i gained weight, not lost it).
She had every excuse to me and was very rude. Turned out i should have had 2 sizes smaller than she ordered. They would not order another size and wanted to charge me for all the extra alterations. Needless to say i took my dress somewhere else for the alterations and it came out better than all the girls who had them done there.
The other girls were all very dissapointed with their alterations. One girl had cups put in and you could see all the lines and everything.
Sorry this is so long.
