Wedding $ Poll

I think this has been done before but just out of curiosity...
It always makes me wonder, espaeially when brides are spending $500 on a pair of shoes, how much it the rest of the wedding going to cost

What do you mean by 3 part poll?

it kind of also depends on how many guests there are....usually the more guests, the more $$$...but that doesn't necessarily mean you're spending more per person.

You should make a $$$ per person poll too!!!!

umm, i only saw 1 poll ? so I answered it

I agree that it depends on # of guests.....the only reason my budget is so high is because we're inviting everyone and their mothers (as per our culture), but we are definitely going average...cheap even....on most vendors.

i agree...i can have the EXACT wedding as another guest, same vendors and just same everything...but if i have 300 guests and they have 150 then that is what will make the HUGE difference...not that i am doing more or anything like that.

yeah...exactly! I spent right around 40K....and that included everything...food, tax, tips, papers, etc. But if you divide that by # of people...it came out to around $135 per person...for EVERYTHING. I had almost 300 people.

If you get married during peak season on a sat night, that $135 won't even cover food!!! but if they only invited like 100 people, it seems like they were better at controlling their budget!

Same boat. Over 350 on the guestlist Makes a HUGE difference.

not counting honeymoon its about 16K and we are having about 115 people at our wedding.

Saved a lot do to DIY and our day decreased the money and we didn't go all out on any vendor.

our prices per head are quite avg. and the only reason we end up spending too much money is b/c of the guest list.. which is out of control!
