is everyone doing wedding programs? I don't see why I need these. The only thing I would want to have is a list of the bridal party names and the officiant to be polite. Can it just be like a card or dose it have to fold up and crap...

Re: wedding programs?
yeah I dont see why not. I went to a wedding where it was like a long card and very thin paper with like 3 pages of what the prayers were, songs being played and the bridal party and family

You can really do what ever you want. I am thinking of a scroll type of thing for the programs

You don't have to have them. We're using them since we're doing two ceremonies due to our different religious backgrounds...more to guide the folks from one side of the family through one ceremony, and vice-versa.
I've seen very simple and elegant ones at Michael's. Super easy and cheap...which is key, since most people throw them out/leave them in their chairs anyway.

Re: wedding programs?
you can make them whatever way you want, since you aren't having a mass/church ceremony then I would buy card stock and print it on a flat sheet with the BM's name, name of parents, officiant and maybe a short thank you from you and FH and if you are remembering anyone that day (grandparent, aunt uncle etc.)
