Does anyone have any idea where I can get a 40 year old wedding purse cleaned? Can I bring it to a dry cleaner? This purse belongs to FMIL, she used it for her wedding and it will be my something borrowed. The purse is ivory and has beads all over it. There is some dirt stuck inside the beads. It is so delicate, I don't what to take a brush to it. Please help.

I'd be wary of taking it to a regular dry cleaners. Maybe getting a referral from them or pricing could serve as a useful data point, though. Are there any antique shops dealing with clothing, high-end consignment or vintage shops, or indepedent seamstresses/tailors who could weigh in?
