So a lot of girls grow up just fantasizing about their wedding day....so my question is, are you planning the wedding you always imagined? how is it different? are you restricted because of the dreaded 'b' word (budget!)?

I think so far this wedding is exactly what I wanted....the only thing that is different than I pictured is the ballroom, I pictured a grand-type of ballroom. My reception room is smaller but inimate and just so romantic-feeling.

well i did not think i would have a daytime wedding but i have to compromise somewhere since i am not made of money. i know it will still be beautiful though.

I was never the one to dream abuot my wedding. EVER actually. lol
i was never able to say the word marriage or wedding in regards to myself until pretty recently.
Kids (in regards to mine) is still a hard thing for me to say. I call them 'things' lol

well i always thought about gettin married and going through the motions but i never worked out the details in my head. maybe just the dress...and the dress i chose fits the idea of what i wanted.
i think alot of ideas change once you actually get into wedding planning and start seeing your choices and stuff

i think its pretty close! Granted if it wasnt for a budget ::gasp:: i'd prob have one of those platinum weddings and not think twice about it, lol, but i have to say that im pretty much getting everything ive always wanted!

truthfully i never really dreamed of the wedding. i knew in the back of my head that FH & i would get married but thats different then wedding. i never spoke about us getting married until after we were engaged. i think in the 8 years prior to getting engaged FH & i only spoke about getting married twice. once a couple of months after we started dating & once a year before we got engaged.
i was always too busy dreaming about us having a house & kids to dream about a wedding.

So far it's going that way. But I still have a lot to do. I think the only thing that might happen not in my plans is that FH wants an Incredible Hulk ice sculpture instead of the usual ones. I'm actually debating letting him get one...................

Actually never thought about it, so making it up as I go.
I never dreamed of getting married and what I would want as a kid...

never dreamed of the wedding or the details or the planning. only started thinking about it after FH and I were dating for a year and then i thought of it as a possibility. but even then, never really pictured anything.
when i was younger i dreamed of BEING married and having kids...but everything before that...the planning, heck, even the dating...never really dreamed of.

I always knew I wanted to get married, but when i started planning I realized that I didn't have an idea of what type of wedding, the colors, the dress, etc.
Now we are on a very strict budget, so to say this would be a dream wedding? Hmmmm I probably would say no.
But FH still has hopes he hits MEGA so I could nuts and have the wedding of a lifetime.
But all seriousness...the fact that I am marrying the love of my life is a dream in itself.

My wedding is exactly what I wanted it to be. Money has really not been an option so far.
the only difference is i am getting married on a sunday night - thought i would be getting married on a fri or sat and the only reason why i am is because of minimum

Same here! I always envisioned a night wedding but I'm saving a lot by having it during the day.
