I am looking for a reception hall that can accomodate at least 200 people and be able to have an outdoor ceremony on the grounds, preferrably in Suffolk. I am going with an 'autumn themed' wedding. I don't really like the style of places like Villa Lombardi's... Any suggestions ladies?

North Ritz in Syosset! I am having a fall-themed wedding too, and having an outdoor ceremony there, and having between 225 and 250 people. AND, its a one-event-at-a-time place!

even though its in nassau, carlyle on the green - it has gorgeous outdoor spaces both the ceremony and cocktail hour, and it has specific indoor spaces for each in case the weather is bad (instead of what most places do, which is to cordon off an area of the reception room for an indoor ceremony)

The Riviera maxes around 200... I wouldn't really put much more than 180 there. How about the Thatched Cottage in Centerport?
We told the Riviera 200-225 and they said im so sry but you are too big for this place and showed us the door.

Not sure your price point per person. My RH oheka castle is in suffolk county (less than a mile from nassau) on the north shore. It is beautiful and holds 500 in the ballroom, but i am having 200 and it does not look to large. It has a large outdoor ceremony area and seperate large outdoor cocktail hour.

Thanks for the suggestions! We are trying to spend no more than $130 inclusive of service charge and tax. Beautiful grounds are a must! I am a nature lover

If you're willing to consider Nassau, How about the Inn at New Hyde Park?
I think Riviera is too small. We needed a hall to accomodate at least 200 and found Riviera to be BEAUTIFUL but ultimately too small. I think above 150 it's tight IMO
