Wedding Reception for 200+

I am looking for a reception hall that can accomodate at least 200 people and be able to have an outdoor ceremony on the grounds, preferrably in Suffolk. I am going with an 'autumn themed' wedding. I don't really like the style of places like Villa Lombardi's... Any suggestions ladies?

Not sure your price point per person. My RH oheka castle is in suffolk county (less than a mile from nassau) on the north shore. It is beautiful and holds 500 in the ballroom, but i am having 200 and it does not look to large. It has a large outdoor ceremony area and seperate large outdoor cocktail hour.

Yeah we went to a wedding there with less than 200, and it definitely didn't look like the room was empty. They do great set up there. Great choice!

Flowerfield and East Wind immediately came to mind! Definitely go look at both, you will not be disappointed!

Its in Nassau, but i LOVE the Sand Castle. My guest list is 250-300 (right now its 400, but i'm so cutting that list). The place is beautiful, outside gardens are lovely and its a one wedding at a time place!!!!

Def check out Flowerfield...It's a 180 degree difference from your typical country club and catering hall facilities...

Thanks for the suggestions! We are trying to spend no more than $130 inclusive of service charge and tax. Beautiful grounds are a must! I am a nature lover <3 AND it must have great food!

OK now I went back and read all the comments and saw this one and now you HAVE to see flowerfield!
Flowerfield is on 15 acres of land with ponds, fountains, orchanrds, vinyards, etc... The cocktail hour space is actual an old airplane hanger is THAT big...it is surrounded by plants and a koi pond right in that space! AND it has 40, yes 40 little cocktail tables which means all your guests can actually sit and eat at the cocktail hour!
The outdoor ceremony space is absolutely gorgeous with built in benches - not those white folding chairs! and to get to the ceremony space/gazebo you walk over a little bridge - AMAZING!

and in regards to food...Lovin Oven, is the company that owns Flowerfield and Land's End on Long Island and they are known for the absolute best catering food on Long Island. I had my tasting a few weeks ago and not only is the food to die for put the presentation of the food is magnificent! Talk to anyone who went to wedding at Flowerfield and they will tell you it has the best food! An old college friend got married there about 4 -5 yrs ago and she told me, once I chose FF, that people are still commenting about the food, service, and grounds beign by far the best! (Can you tell I'm in love with FF?!?!?!)

North Ritz in Syosset! I am having a fall-themed wedding too, and having an outdoor ceremony there, and having between 225 and 250 people. AND, its a one-event-at-a-time place!

ditto! We are having around 200 people & alot of place we looked at seemed a little squishy!!!

Majestic Gardens!!!!! The outside ceremony spaces are so beautiful! The prices are very reasonable and they are so sweet. I was going to have my reception there , but it was ultimately to far for me. It could definitely accommodate 200 people.
