wedding registry

Original post by ZCHM08

FH & I are trying to decide where to register......We only want to choose 2 stores. We are considering Fortunoff, Macys, Bed Bath & Beyond, Crate & Barrel, Target, and Bloomingdales..... Any opinions???

We like alot of things are each of these stores but we don't want to go overboard with too many registries!

Re: wedding registry

I registered at BB&B and Home Depot. I began registering at Fort. but then I thought I could get a lot of the same things at BB&B for cheaper and they do carry a lot of the high end brands if you ask or type it in on line. I love Fort. but, I feel like everything is so expensive and I felt bad. I do need to find another big store for my bedding and crystal. I didn't find one I liked there. Also, BB&B gives you cash back on returns for up to 2 years as long as it was on your registry. You can also use expired coupons and L&Tcoupons.

BB&B is a common place..so I would def. recommended..

If I could register again I would def do BB&B because of those 20% coupons everyone gets in the mail all the time.

I chose Macys and BBB. Both have great stuff, for great prices. Macys always has sales, so you can get things for a great deal.

I registered at two stores so far- Target, Bed, Bath and Beyond (they have a great registry return policy btw) and I need to look at Pottery Barn and see if there's anything that I want from there.

I don't know if you girls know this but you can use the BBB coupons to buy things off registries at fortunoffs (as long as the coupons are not expired)

macy's is a problem beacause you don't get money bacl, just store credit, so be aware of that, BBB is the ONLLY place where you get money back, keep that in mind

I am thinking of registering at Target, but my sister works there and said to make sure you get receipts from everyone cause there return policy is really strict. I was actually thinking about registering at Kohls..I was thinking they always have sales so nobody would have to spend too much money..anyone registering there? i don't know what there policies are

I actually found some things were cheaper at Fortunoff's - and they had some more high-end items, i.e. crystal candle sticks, decorative pieces, etc.

I am registered at Linens, BB&B and Fortunoffs. I did both Linens and BB&B because only Linens had the dishes I want in a set (soooo much cheaper than buying place settings) but Linens doesnt have as much good stuff as BB&B.

Re: wedding registry

Definately do FORTUNOFF'S for high-end and BBB for budget. BBB is the best!!! NO JOKE 20% coupons all the time, everyone gets those...who won't want to buy you many things there (notice I said thingssss plural) lol and if you happen to not want it in the end or somehow change your mind they give you CASH back for any item off your registry. It doesn't get any better than that!!!!
