Wedding Review ( Guest) VERY LONG
Okay, I`m only posting this to give my opinion. I went to a wedding At Jericho Terrace. The cocktail hour was nice, Except that photographer (Cassarino) notice my e-ring amd started pumping me for info, which I did not give, anyway he proceeds to tell me about several famous rap stars who`s wedding they did. JaRule was married at JT 2 moths ago. He tells me all about how he`s getting connected in the rap industry, and how great that is because they`ll drop 10 G`s on photo & video and they`ll be great publicity etc, etc, It was so annoying. Like I was impressed. I have posted several times on my opinion on Cassarino and man I stand by what I said. The Video guy (Cassarino) was in the way during the vows. No one but him could see anything. He was in the way during the cake cutting and took table footage while we were eating our main course. I don`t know what kind of camera she requested, but for the most part the light he used was obtrusive, you always noticed he was around. Her DJ (Body Rock), made several mistakes. I had looked in to them after she booked them on her advice but they demanded that I sign a contract before I left and so I walked. Good decision on my part. Anyhoo, they played the wrong first dance song and could not find her music til the wrong song was over. One piece of equipment went crazy and made a brain piercing noise for almost a minute. They had 0 concept on the size of the room in comparison to the volume level and the amount of people. And at least twice there were CDs that kept skipping. We also had a stolen gift. A guest put her card down to wash her hands and someone walked away with it, when we informed the MD` we did not expect him to do anything, what could he do, but he copped an attitude and instead of saying I am sorry that this happened to, I wish there was something I could do, he said I have 3 weddings happening here, and you`re bothering me for this, what do you want from me. Also the food was fair to midland. They did the champagne march, I don`t know if they charge extra for that but in my opinion if they charged me, I would want my $$ back. All they do is walk up and down the dance floor and then pour champagne into glasses. No one was impressed by that or the Chateau Briand on Fire thing. It was actually kinda strange. Her florist was Pedestals, she had a Victorian theme and they could not have been more on the money!! The colors were perfect, they were beautiful. I would use them. Well just wanted to give you my 2 cents.

Cassarino - had the same experience!!!
Last year, I was in a wedding, and the photographer was Cassarino. The photographer (owner) noticed my e-ring, too and grilled me about which studio I was using. Since I had already booked, I shut him up pretty quick. However, he continued to ask the rest of the bridal party (several of whom were recently engaged) who they were using for photos. I found it to be very annoying. I understand he was trying to generate business, but in my opinion, his focus should have been on the event of the day - not soliciting new business. Regardless, I found that he was creative with the poses for photos and think the bride got some amazing shots. So, just b/c he's a bit tactless as a person, doesn't mean he's washed up as a photographer. The proof is in the pictures. As a side note - I feel so bad for the bride and groom who's wedding BriarRose reviewed. How horrible to have so many things go wrong - hopefully, they barely noticed or were affected.

Well the Bride and Groom took it all in stride. She realized no one there really cared about the little stuff. We just wanted to be a part of there special day. A good time seemed to be had by all.

I guess when your planning your own wedding you start looking at things in a different way. Ever since I got engaged and started planning my wedding, I've noticed alot of details. Best of Luck!!!!

about the photographer
I agree with BriarRose. If a photographer is annoying and bragging the whole time, he is not concentrating on the event. There are lots of great photographers. You don't have to put up with that type of unprofessional treatment in order to have great photos.Welcome New Vendors
