FH and I have been looking at wedding bands... and I just can't decide! I am simple, traidtional type of person so I am not going for anything crazy... but here's where I'm stuck.
FH likes the traditional plain gold (we're doign white gold) band with the slight etching around the sides. I also like this a lot... and it works well with my e-ring. He really likes this idea because that way we can match.
However, I also like the thin band that has the small diamond chips that go throughout...it's elegant and I can wear it on it's own... but it won't match FH's. What would you do?
What about getting the traditional ring now and getting the bling for your 1st anniversary?

i say go for the bling too....you can always get a plain one to wear everyday whenever

tough choice, would you be able to get both? that way you can have an everyday wedding ring and one thats more dressy? or get the plain band and then the blingy one for your anniversary?

FH wanted me to get a plain band, 'so it wouldn't take away from the engagement ring.' With a diamond band, my engagement ring POPPED. It really accented it nicely! Our bands are unique just like we are, and FH's band looks GREAT on him (pics are in my album if you want to see ours!)

can you get both?
i had a similar dilemma- we're greek, and greek people are supposed to get Plain bands when they get engaged... then, those same bands are to be used as wedding bands.
fiancee doesnt like bling for himself, which was perfect, because i wanted to wear the one that matches his... but, he said 'youre not going to wear a plain white gold band along with the platinum and diamond engagement ring'... tried telling him 'lets not spend that kind of money now, and we'll get me one later on- anniversary or something' .. he wouldnt hear of it...
soo i couldnt NOT listen to my future husband! i mean, what kind of wife would i be?
ps- we ordered the matching band to my ring, but i plan on wearing the plain one on my right hand
so i vote for Get both rings

I dont know how much you plan to spend of your wedding rings, but i do know Tiffany has the legacy setting in which it's a gold band with slight etching around the sides and there is a matching smaller diamond band with etching around the sides as well.

GET THE BLING NOW, BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!!
Trust this 2nd time bride, after the wedding, there's a mortgage, cars need tires, the furnace needs to be replaced, kids ain't cheap...the bling budget reduces drastically!
Get it now, while you still can!!!
