Opinion poll: How many of you are planning to get a wedding band that *matches* your engagement ring?
This question applies best to those of you who do not have a solitaire engagement ring with a plain band.
Additional Question: Should the 2 rings meet flush against one another?
Jewelers seem to be on the fence about this question. Some say that you want the look of 2 separate rings (a space in between) because you are married and want to show it off, and some say it looks nice to have the two rings meet flush against one another...
I suppose it comes down to personal choice. I just wanted to know what you all thought

Re: Wedding Ring Poll
I don't know what I am going to do. My ring is very different and is antique style. I have to wear it alone on my left hand because my E Ring is too big to be worn with another ring. I originally wanted an antique style ring but now I have my heart set on an eternity band.

Re: Wedding Ring Poll
my ering is a solitare and doesnt sit flush with any band unless it has a dip in it (which i dont like) so mine is not going to sit flush...i think i want an eternity band

Re: Wedding Ring Poll
my e-ring band doesn't have any diamonds on the band. it just has the one solitaire but my wedding band will have round diamonds all around the band.

Re: Wedding Ring Poll
I want to have a wedding band that matches my e-ring. Due to the design of my e-ring my wedding band will not be flush against it unless I get the band that is designed to fit against my e-ring (which I hate!!) but then I will not be able to wear the band alone. I will probably have my wedding band custom designed.

Re: Wedding Ring Poll
We may have a mold made to match my e-ring or go with something that will compliment it.

Re: Wedding Ring Poll
I have a knife egde solitare. I want something to compliment it... being that it's a solitare I want something a little more sparkly for the wedding band - I'm thinking pave stones all around but I hear mixed reviews.

Re: Wedding Ring Poll
I also have a solitaire, so I think I'm just going to get a nice eternity band. I don't think it'll sit flush up against my ering, but that's ok i guess.

Re: Wedding Ring Poll
I have a matching band for my ring with stones that are the same size as the small ones in the band of my e-ring. They sit flush. I love it and can't wait to wear it...I even sneak it in and wear it for a few seconds.

Re: Wedding Ring Poll
mine are going to compliment
because my ring is a plain band with a solitare, so to accent it-- i want to get a multi diamond band

Re: Wedding Ring Poll
By complete coincidence, because I never saw the band before, my grandmother's wedding band (which my Mom has had since my grandma died in 1986) is platinum with diamonds all around, and is thin, which I need because I have a double band e-ring. They wound up matching perfectly, even the size. I cried when my Mom showed me, because she didn't see my ring until we visited months after the engagement, and she was like 'oh my god, you can use your grandmother's band' . . . . it was awesome.
