My rings won't match and they won't be flush on top of each other either. But that's alright, it's a personal preference thing mixed in with my E-ring sticks out and no wedding band in the world unless we had it specially made would fit with it.

Re: Wedding Ring Poll
I already got mine....my band matches the band to my e-ring. I'm also going to get a plain band without diamonds, maybe something to match FH when he gets his.

Re: Wedding Ring Poll
I *do* have a solitaire ring, and voted 'rings will compliment each other but not match' although choice 3 fits too.
FH had asked me what kind of ring I'd like, and I had no idea. I never had that kind of stuff planned out! I was wavering between a cushion cut on a micropave band (to be worn with a matching micropave wedding band) or a 6 prong knife-edge solitaire to be worn with a diamond band.
In the end I went for the solitaire because I like simple but elegant things, and I liked that the wedding band stood out -- I didn't want it to just blend in with what was already there.
My rings don't sit perfectly flush because my e-ring has a low setting, but they are close enough.

Re: Wedding Ring Poll
my e-ring is a cathedral setting but the side stones are set like a channel...so i think a channel set eternity band will look good with it.

Re: Wedding Ring Poll
My e-ring has a matching wedding band and that's what I will be getting. The front and back sides of my e-ring are textured and the wedding band fits right into the grooves of the ering.
