wedding rings

Does anyone have any advice on save a few dollars on a wedding band for FH. I went to the karat shop and i found a ring i know he will love, and the lady did take 150 off the price. I wasn't sure if i would get a better deal around the holidays. What does everyone think?

Re: wedding rings

reply there is also tungston for the guys but its a bit dark in color. FH doesn't like it.

Try tri-county flea market so you can negotiate with different vendors.

Re: wedding rings

I would wait until the holidays or even right after the holidays when the vendors have sales.

Re: wedding rings

if you have any old gold to sell, sell it to the jeweler and get more $ applied to the ring than you would get back in cash

Just keep in mind that although titanium is less money, it can never ever be resized so tell your hubby not to loss or gain weight. All the stores discouraged us from getting that though. I forgot the reasoning.

MY Fh got Paladium. We got them at fortunoff & his was around $500-

Re: wedding rings

He wants a white gold ring with diamonds. He has a large finger so we will need to get it sized whereever we go. I'm always a little cautious about the flea market.

Re: wedding rings

whitehall and lundstrum are going out of business, everything i believe is now up to 60% off, they are located in several malls. I got mine there for soooo cheap. FH still can't decide on which one he wants, but they had really good prices! HTH!
