Where did you ladies get your FH's wedding ring? We went shopping yesterday and FH tried on one that was $500!! It was very thin and no diamond!! I believe it was 14K white gold, but still it was pretty thin!
Is it me or is that a little expensive for a plain band? I just started ring shopping for rings so maybe im just clueless.

Yea, bands are expensive. FH's cost more than mine. We both got ours at Fortunoffs. They are pretty pricey there. You won't find much there for under 500. If you are not really concerned about the quality...I woud go to Kay Jewelers or Zales. Their quality isnt as good as Fortunoffs or Barney Banks and Biddle, but it's decent.

you will get a better deal there. FH and I went there for our plain bands and the were $300. Plain white gold for him to wear everyday and for me to wear when I don't want to wear my diamonds. But he has a diamond band as well

I won't call him by 'the name' anymore, but I'm certainly just as bad of a La Cheapa...I can tell you with 100% positivity that you can find a plain white gold band for about 100-200 dollars. Blue Nile, Zales...believe me, they're out there.

Re: Wedding Rings
I ordered his online..I got him 2 titanium rings, one silver colored and one black....I got it from titaniumera.com
Really fast, great prices, you get a certificate and if for any reason you need to change the size, no matter how many years from now, they will replace it for you for free since you can not resize titanium

Wow, i just popped over to the Jared website and nearly fell off my freaking chair. Their prices are almost bordering on ridiculously low. Whooo, Ali might get herself some bling!

Re: Wedding Rings
I think you can get a way better price for a plain ring. FH ring was between 800 and 900 but it has a bunch of diamonds and it's not thin either.

Re: Wedding Rings
I love my jewelry, its practically an obsession. However, my fiance and I didn't want to break the bank on our wedding bands so we got sized and ordered both of them online. Two places for great quality cheaper platinum are: eweddingbands.com and weddingringhotline.com. Seriously my plain 2mm platinum band cost me $237.

What is the difference between titanium, tungsten and white gold?? I tried to ask one of the jewelers at Tri County and the guy just told me 'white gold is better' Not really the answer I was looking for...

Thats a good idea. Mine cant wear his ring because of work if it gets contaminated with blood or saliva,or feces. The gloves just dont cut it. Im sorry to be gross.
