where do u girls suggest we shop for wedding rings when we come home in a few weeks? FH got my e-ring at zales, but personally i think they are a bit overpriced for what they have and i'm not thrilled with the customer service. We are looking for friendly customer service and don't want to spend more than $1200 total for both our rings.

I don't knwo where you live, but we went to Good Old Gold in Massapequa for the engagement and the wedding rings, and we absolutely LOVE them there (especially Marie). They are so nice and helpful and patient. They even wuoted me one price for my weding ring, and then called back andsaid actually we gave you the wrong price, its CHEAPER than we thought... what business does that these days? I think we'll be going there forever

jewelry exchange upstairs from the tri-county flea market. Got our wedding bands there. Around $1200 for both, and mine is platinum to match E-ring and has princess cut diamonds all around. FH didn't want any diamonds. HTH

definitely check out the diamond district in the city. around 5th avenue in the mid 40's. We went to 5th and 47th!
I walked out of the store with mine. His band took two weeks to get in!

i had mine custom made at elsa in farmingdale, but FH got his at Jareds. They have a nice selection their for men and women.

Commack Jewelry Exchange has a bunch of small jewelry shops within one store. I'm sure you' be able to find something nice and some nice people too.
