Wedding rings...

So a couple weeks ago I went to the mall & stopped at all the jewelry stores to look for a wedding band. These are 2 that I tried on...

#1 This one is my exact ring, the style & everything in a 1/2 ct size & they could prob get it down to $800

#2 This one is a 5 diamond wedding band & costs about $1200. I like this one better

What were you guys looking to spend on a wedding band? I don't know if I should spend that much. But then again I will have it for life so I want it to be gorgeous!

I like the 2nd one! and I dont think its a bad price, like you said you have to wear it for life.

FH and I haven't really discussed what we're going to spend on rings yet.. I would assume at least $1,000

I think $1200 is not a bad price for the ring. I have our budget as being about $2,000 for both my ring and FH ring. Although I would love to spend less than that but as you said it is something that you will wear forever!

I like the 2nd ring better. FH bought my wedding band as a set with the ering. Not too sure how much we will spend on his. I don't think the that price sounds bad for a wedding band.

I like the first one but prob b/c I'm big into things being the same. I don't think its such a bad price, but you can always take the pic and shop around and see if anyone can make it for cheaper.

we haven't looked yet but i am def getting it the exact way i want it to be

i agree the second one .. besides if you like it that much more than the first picture .. its really only 400$ more ...
you dont wanna say down the road .. wow i wish i got the other one ..or the other one was so much nicer..
i could see if it was a grand more or something thats just how i look at it ..

and lately i do the year thing .. if i get a year to pay it off about how much a month do i have to pay ..
1200 = 100$ a month do able lol

I actually prefer the first one LOL but def go with the one you love. If it was a HUGE price gap I would prob feel differently, but for $400 you should splurge!

they're both beautiful and you should get one you love since you're gonna wear it for life!
if it's only four hundred more and you really like it, it's not that much extra.
I lucked out getting mine at the zales outlet much cheaper than the store would have it, and it matched, but I totally would've spent more.

I think both are beautiful, but I would lean towards the second based on looks. However, I'm not planning on spending that much on a ring. I think I am going to get something simple for my other hand because i LOVE my engagement ring, so i don't care as much about the band lol. We agreed to spend more money on his ring since I have a nice one :) Trying to even things out
