we got my e-ring and our wedding bands from a jeweler at Tri-County in Levittown. You'd be amazed at the deals you can get out there. my jeweler was Nalleh Jewlery, first booth to the left when you get off the escalator.

they gave great prices! (pics of rings in albums)

Turkan in TRI-County Flea Market. Mark is great and so honest. The rings are beautiful and the prices are perfect since you are paying for quality and not a fancy name.

We had a great experience at Dorothy's Fine Jewelry on Main Street in Sayville. She's great. She made my ring, and she also made my FMIL's Christmas present- a three stone ring with a HUGE canary diamond in the center!!

Got my e-ring setting & wedding band from Leigh J. Nacht in the diamond district in the city. He also has a website you can look at & order thru. Love him!!! He is so great to work with, and his stuff is great quality...my setting appraised almost twice what it cost. He also repaired some heirloom pieces for me. pics of all in my albums.

my jeweler is Shima Jewelry (David) in Tri County. DH bought my e-ring from him and he matched the diamond quality perfectly for my w-ring. both rings appraised at more than 2x what we paid!

We got my wedding band at the Karat Shop in Huntington. That's where my e-ring came from too. FH still hasn't made up his mind yet on his wedding band.... He can't decide between three different ones.... He's such a WOMAN!

Re: wedding rings/jewelers?

Thank you all for your suggestions - so I went to a store in the smithhaven mall yesterday with FH just to take a look at some rings and was treated fabulously by the sales associate. After a short period of time chatting with us, she knew exactly what to show us and what not to. I loved her!

But, then we were mortified by how her assistant manager spoke to us! She came out of the back room around 5:30 and rudely informed FH, myself and sales associate that it was 5:30 and that they needed to start to count the rings in the cases and we needed to hurry up. I know that this doesn't sound too bad when it's written out this way, but it was horrible! I was never treated so poorly in my life by a sales clerk while in the MIDDLE of a sale - we were looking at bands for each of us, with potential purchases of watches for the groomsmen, etc. Nevermind that she spoke this way to an employee in front of customers.

If it weren't for the clerk, we would never go back and I would definitely be telling all of you not to go yourselves! Needless to say we're planning a trip back to speak with the manager ...

Re: wedding rings/jewelers?

If you're still looking for a jeweler, we just got our rings this weeked from Italian Design Jewelers in tri -county- they were fabulous! We worked with Mary and she was great- she spent a lot of time with us going over the different rings and really helped FH and I to pick ones we loved. And the prices were great- we had looked at a couple of other shops in tri county, and Italian Design's service and prices were far better than any others we looked at!
