FH has a sister who is in desperate need of rehab, at the very least. She is truly a BAD person. She is a danger to herself and to others & I seriously wish she would just move to Alaska & get eaten by a polar bear.
WHY you ask? B/c my reception hall called me last night in a panic asking what was going on. I said “um, what do you mean?” Well. My FSIL called the caterer & said “Bride is too upset to call you and tell you herself but the wedding is OFF. You can cancel it.”
She also called the sold out hotel for my guests posing as me & said cancel all the rooms, the wedding is off. She called my bridal salon and did the same for my dress & my BM dresses. I have been on the phone all day calling every vendor to see who else she got to. My father called a friend who owns a club & we have now hired security for my wedding. So much for my classy Hamptons wedding. This crazy b!tch is ruining everything!!!
She is doing all this to get back at us. FH had her arrested last week. Long story. No one was seriously hurt by her actions but it was bad enough that the police filed seven charges against her. I hope she goes to jail. I really do. She belongs there.
She is seriously troubled. The whole family has cut her off and wants nothing to do with her & she is lashing out. How DARE she try to cancel my wedding!!!!

UPDATE 3 - she also called the bridal shop & tried to cancel all the dresses. She said she was me. Luckily, the owner knows my voice & called her out on it! I had given her a heads up...

OMG...........story gets worse!!!! I'm sooooo glad you, baby and FH are fine! SHE is insane! Please pursue this and although she is family, and it will hurt....DO NOT back down! She needs to learn a lesson....a tough one at that! SO sorry to hear she has a drug addiction and that your family has to deal w/ the burden, but FH did the right thing. Again, do not give up and persist, because I know as family, we sometimes give people the benefit of the doubt...but this time she went tooo far! Teach her a lesson! Good luck to you!

Me too, I'm so sorry that you have to go thru all of this with the baby and the wedding. Drugs hurt lots of people, most of whom, never do them. It's the family and friends of addicts who get hurt. I have members of my family and extended family who fight these demons as well. Some have won, some have lost their battle and some go back and forth. I pray that she loses her power to hurt you, FH, DC and FH's family any further.

omg that is so horrible!! and with your baby in the car!! i really hope everything works out and she stays the hell away from you all. she needs some SERIOUS help! but i'm glad to hear no one was hurt in the 'accident'

For those who asked in FMs why we had her arrested- I'll try to make a long story short: FH had a big fight with FSIL a few months ago b/c basically she is a drug addict. He has been supporting her financially for a VERY long time. So he cut her off & told her to clean up her act. So she now hates him. We kicked her out of the BP and FH has banned her from t he wedding.
Fast forward to this weekend: We were parked in front of FH's family's restuarant. I was sitting in the passenger side of my car breastfeeding our 2 week old baby. FSIL pulled into the parking lot & decided to pull up to our car, SPIT on us & then gunned the gas & rammed our car. Intentionally. With my baby in the car. Luckily, no one was seriously hurt but she jolted the car and did $2000+ worth of damage. As you could imagine, we had her arrested & we want her in jail. She's a class act.

This is terrible and you had every right to call the cops on her and have her arrested--you had your baby in the car and she showed absolutely no regard for another life. She will not clean up unless she truly hits rock bottom, so having her arrested and charged is probably the best course of action considering all that's tranpired.

What a psycho!! I wish I was still a police officer [I'm a sergeant now] and working where your ILs restaurant is- so I could've been the one to lock her up!!!
