Hi all I was in hope of someones help I am getting married in August and due to a change of plans am changing the wedding from Florida to Long Island. Can anyone tell me of some nice gardens or little chaples. PLEASE HELP Misty

You have to get off at the exit for LINCOLN AVE. (there isn't one for Broadway-I go past there every day going home from work). It is the exit after passing a K-Mart on the left. Broadway will be the 2nd light. Ron & I got our rings there a few weeks ago - two tone white & yellow 14k, no stones, $250 or $275 for both. We went to Elegant Jewelry, first booth straight ahead when you go in the east entrance.

Glory read my posting about Broadway favors from March 1. I don't know if their lack of professionalism is common, but you may want to avoid any possibility that it wasn't.

I have to tell you that they have been wonderful to me. They answer my emails usually within 2 days and my girlfriend was married there last year and loved it. It was her second wedding so they hired an officiant and did it there under the gazebo. She had such a great wedding. They are so accomodating and several people in my company have gone to weddings there over the past few years and EVERYONE of them said how wonderful it is. The food is overwhelming in abundance, delicious and the staff is so sweet. I have never ever heard anything bad about it. I was having my reception on a lake in a fancy expensive place, but decided to downgrade, move it out to the country and pay less for the same service and better food believe it or not. I'm so happy I'm having it there now and it was one of the best decisions of my whole wedding planning. I was going to pay almost 95.00 per plate on a Friday night and opted for Eastwind which is so much less for me and I'm getting the same service and actually, better and more food for my guests. Good luck to you. If you are planning a spring/summer wedding, the gardens are gorgeous in the summer/spring. I actually toured the place in August of last year and that's when I fell in love with it. Their pictures on the web do no justice to the actual grounds when you see them.
