wedding shadow box

Is anyone doing a wedding shadow box? if so what are you putting in it? what is the point of it

ok i think a shadow box is like a time capsul for the wedding

I may do it, but that probably wont be decided till ilke day-of the wedding. A shadow box is like a picture frame that you can display/hang up. But the main difference is you can put 3-D stuff in it.

For example, you can include a copy of your invitation to the wedding and maybe some tactile mementos from teh wedding (i.e., if you have wedding bubbles or small wrapped favors). It is definately a nice way to capture the items we all worked so hard on...rahter then just throwing them in a shoebox and storing them who-knows-where. lol

that is a really cute idea... the only thing where are you going to store it after you make it! My luck I will make it look beautiful and then it will be a dust collector

My brother had it made after his wedding, They preserved my SIL's bouquet and his flower and they put in the invitation. Their box is beautiful,

hang it on the wall somewhere i guess. really havent put too much thought into this one. maybe ill give this to FH as a project. he loves keeping stuff (AHH, pack rat!!)

ims o doing it cuz i keep every usless piece of crap possible... thats righ im a horder and i admit it! lol

a wedding shadow box is a shadow box (think of a box with one panel as glass) thats filled with keepsakes of your wedding.... a lot of girls put the invitation there, their garter, cake topper, etc.

they look really cute if you put effort into them and they're just a cute decoration to keep in your bedroom
