WEDDING SHOE INSERTS?!?!

So... I did a search on thigh highs to see what brides were saying about them for the wedding day... but the majority of the girls are responding - don't wear anything - just get inserts for your shoes.....

..... I am be totally dumb - but what are inserts for shoes? Do they mean - like a ped?? HAHA

Thanks for your help girlies!!

Not sure what they mean by that either. Originally I wanted to do no stockings, but I was at DSW last night and fell in love with closed toe shoes so now I may do stockings or thigh highs. Thigh highs are sexier. Do what you're most comfortable in.

Its just a little pad you put in the front of your shoes....At least that's what I think they are....If the shoe is a little big it usually helps to mantain your feet in nicely...

Re: WEDDING SHOE INSERTS?!?!

you know when you go to try on shoes and they give you those littl stocking things that just barely cover your foot? i think they're talking about those. they make real ones (not falling apart like the ones used for trying on) that last for a while. they also make ones that just cover the tip of your foot, from your toes to the middle of your arch and ones that do the same thing but leave your toes uncovered (for sandals).

i dunno if they were actually talking about these things and i don't know how good they are as i've never used them, but it could be worth checking into. i've seen them pretty much everywhere (even cvs) so your should be able to find them easily. hth!

I have no idea what inserts are!
I didn't wear them or panty hose the day of my wedding [of course my wedding was July, so it was warm]. My mom blew such a fit when she found out I wasn't wearing them. Well least I wore underwear! LOL. JK of course I would have! LOL! I knew of 1 bride on the Knot that said she DIDNT! how weird is that!??!

Seriously, Im thinking a bridal store would have them.................

But also on the other hand, if I was a fall or winter bride, I probably would have wore something like pantyhose or whatever...

Dr Scholls makes gel inserts for shoes. They're shoe-shaped gel pads that make dress shoes more comfortable. yu canget them in most drug stores or grocery stores.

I wear those little peds (buy the good ones bougth in the store) to work all the time.
I think they work great. You can't even see them.

Personally my feet get all sticky w/o them?
