Anyone know of places in queens where i can look for shoes? I'm really SICK of going to LI for everything. I'm ordering my dress right after Labor Day and they told me to bring my shoes or at least the heel i want, so I need to look this weekend because I have no free weekends until October!
I don't own a car but might be able to borrow one saturday for a few hours - I'm in the forest hills area.
Thanks in advance!

yeah, you don't need to drive out to LI. If you don't have a car just take the train into the city.

Haven't checked out Austin St.; I guess I could. I work in the city so I was hoping to stay local around the neighborhood this weekend since I'm always shopping in the city.
DSW's a good idea - thanks!

I also live in Forest Hills. I tried Austin Street but didn't have much luck. I ended up ordering online. If you're not searching for bridal shoes, Austin is fabulous though. I'm there all the time
