Re: Wedding Shoes
I ordered mine from Myglassslipper.com they had TONS of styles to choose from cheaper than the stores. Then I tracked them down at different show stores to try them on in person.
Casa De Mario in Patchogue has a big selection Bridal Reflections in Carle Place has some too.
I wore open toe in September so I cant imagine why you cant do it on October! Oh I miss planning

Re: Wedding Shoes
I actually just checked out that website myglassslipper...they have a huge selection and some of the sale ones are really nice! I am just worried about how they will fit. Do they run true to size or not. I wear a boat size, 9s! so I am afraid and need comfort to be the number one factor but then i want them to be hot! lol

Re: Wedding Shoes
Careful of ordering online for shoes...I know for me ones might look great but certain styles just either rub my feet wrong so i would get blisters, or just aren't comfortable. I know my friend, when she was looking for shoes, put on ones that looked so so comfortable but once they were on her feet they were awful!

Re: Wedding Shoes
My glass slipper has a small store in manhattan on 23rd St I think. I went in to try a few pairs on just to make sure I was ordering the right size.
If your up for research..write down the styles you like, call a few shoe stores and ask them if they carry those and go in to try them. It took awhile but thats what I did.
Then I got Dr Schols open toe arch support cushion things and stuck em in my shoes!!! I was good ALL NIGHT LONG. Well actually from 2pm-1am..then my feet started to hurt LOL

That is a long time for them to go without hurting!

Re: Wedding Shoes
myglassslipper is actually one of the few online bridal stores that let you return/exchange unworn bridal shoes. Read the return policy for details. I bout mine online because the store did not have any in my size (10) to try on. I was also obsessed with getting a particular shoe that no one seemed to carry. I did try on a similar style of the same brand at RK Bridal, but they did not have the color I needed.

Re: Wedding Shoes
I am getting married in September! Do you think I can wear open toe then? I am pretty sure I can. I don't want anything in high heels..besides I can't wear them anyways. When I walk in them looks like I ahve been drinking! I can't seem to get used to them! For me it's like walking on stilits!!..LOL

Re: Wedding Shoes
I definitely think you can wear open toed shoes. I bought my shoes at Bridal Shoe Boutique on Old COuntry Road just past DSW, they had a pretty good selection and were very helpful
