Wedding Shoes/Dance Shoes

So FH and I are going for our first dance lesson this weekend!! The instructor told me to wear heels like I am wearing the day of. I am wearing a low heel but do you think I should wear my actual wedding shoes to break them in?? Or no will they get dirty?? HELP!! All the silly little things...LOL

Re: Wedding Shoes/Dance Shoes

I'd definitely wear the shoes I'd plan on wearing the day-of...you wanna be sure you can do the dance moves in them! And its definitely a great way to break them in too!!

Re: Wedding Shoes/Dance Shoes

I plan to wear my wedding shoes for our dance lessons- It will help break them in but more importantly I will be use to dancing in them. The instructor told you to wear the shoes you are going to wear mainly b/c of the heel height- You want to have the same center of balance that you will have the day of the wedding but if you do not want to wear your shoes then get a pair with a similar heel height. The shoes may get dirty...mine are silver strappy sandls so I am not too worry about them getting dirty.

Re: Wedding Shoes/Dance Shoes

If you don't think they'll get dirty, definitely use your day-of shoes. I could never do that though - FH has two left feet and would trample my bright white shoes I'd love to have dance lessons with him. Have fun!!!

Re: Wedding Shoes/Dance Shoes

FH and I take dance lessons. I do not wear the shoes I am wearing for the wedding because they will get scuffed or dirty. Wear heals though.
