I am torn between buying some really cheap pair or getting something really expensive -- I want to know what everyone else is planning on doing! Knowing my shoe buying habits, I will probably fall into my own 5th category!

Im thinking stay around a hundred at least because cheap shoes will end up killing your feet by mid day. Id rather pay for comfort! lol

I have a feeling that I am going to get expensive shoes for the ceremony and a few pictures but I think im going to get flats as well - probably a pair of cute ballerina slides - my FH is 6' and im 5'7 - I want their to be a big height difference - I dont wat to be as tall - lol id rather be shorter and cute

My aunt and I shaer a love for shoes, for some reason, for years we have shown up at events with the same shoes. So, she has told me she is going to buy my wedding shoes and told me to go crazy. I don't want to take advantage (she'd barely blink if I asked for Manolos) so I'll try to stay around $150 range.

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, what makes minolos so special? I mean they are beautiful shoes but what makes them so much more money than other shoes? (not being sarcastic at all..but are they made with diamonds in them or what?)

But they are gorgeous I was jsut curious what made them so expensive? Is it just the name? I should learn to design awesome shoes...i could use some extra cash! haha

LOL the most expensive shoes i ever bought were my alfani knee-high boots... haha other than that, steve madden is like TOPS for me... and even i see those in mandees n think whoa... wheres my clearance shoes?

Mine were 100 dollars, with 2 free dyes available. I love my shoes as soon as i put them on, i had to get them they were so pretty and so comfortable

I'm more of a 'how the shoe looks' person but 'my style' always seems to be about $200. I only wear thin stiletto heels over 3 1/2 inches.

Cheap and comfortable is the way to go for me. They will hardly be seen under the dress so I don't see the point of spending a lot.

I originally bought my shoes for $60. They're Nina Shoes.. and then I found them again 2 months later on sale for $25! So I rebought them and returned the other pair since I haven't worn them yet! It's a great deal even if I change my mind later on.. I definitely say go for comfort and affordability!

This is a very good question. I am a former Fashion Design student so I can help you- the quality is better. The materials are usually of the finest. And, yes you are paying for the name.
