Helen's Wedding World! The service there was so much better than all the other places we tried. Went to the Wedding Center - not good service at all, Bridal Suite in Bayshore - Good experience there, and Bridal Reflections in Massapequa - just okay there.

i didnt care much for davids bridal, went there to look for bridal gowns, they were ok didnt get a dress from there though-then went to look with my mother for her dress and they didnt even have anyone help us, they said someone would come to help us and they never did. also went to macys for my mothers dress they were helpful at all they kind of shrugged us off because there was a bride there trying on her dress.
i know alot of the girls on here dont care for the wedding center in commack but it depends on who helps you. i had the best woman help me with my gown and my mothers gown- shes was very helpful and friendly.but then just a few days ago i went there to get my bm's dresses and was sadly disappointed with the girl that helped us. she wasnt very helpful and acted as if it was a hassle to help us.so i guess it depends on who you deal with there everyone else seemed pretty friendly in my opinion.

thanks i do looove maggie dresses! they are so beautiful and aren't ridiculously priced! also, when I went shopping, i told the girls helping me that i did NOT want to even try on a dress that cost more than $1000 (which was my personal dress budget) and that helped a lot.

i went to 3 one good one bad and one great :
Wedding center in Commak ....Bad !! they were rude and really over priced
Macy's in Smith haven mall : good...they were very nice but only sold Demetrios dresses so if thats what your looking for they were very nice and helpful
Burtons Bridal .... Great .... i worked with Carol the owner she was helpful and funny and very honest with all the dresses i tried on , she picked one out for me that i wou;ld never have thought to look at and i bought it !!

I only went to two places! Macys in Lake Grove was okay - but I had a much better experience at Fantasia in Rocky Point. The women there have been wonderful and I annoy them all the time visiting my dress

The best experience I had was at Elena Bridal in Merrick. It is a very small shop but they are so nice, knowledgeable and helpful! Their selection is not as wide as some of the bigger stores but their service is fabulous. We ordered my gown, 7 BM.s and MOB dress there!!!! Check them out!

Macy's both Smithhaven & Manhasset Bridal Reflections - Carle Place Princess Bridal - Farmingdale Burtons Bridal - Huntington Carmela's - Huntington Helen's Wedding World - Commack (Austin Blvd) Wedding Center - Commack (do not confuse with Helen's) Beautiful Bride - Lynbrook Adrianne's - Islip David's Bridal - Carle Place
Hands down, the best experience was at Helen's Wedding World. As for worst experience, it is a toss up between the Wedding Center in Commack and Bridal Reflections. I found the service to be lacking in both places but for different reasons. Wedding Center is just rude and obnoxious, but BR sales staff thinks their sh@t doesn't stink, and I actually had the manager tell me they were 'the premier bridal salon on LI'.

I had a great experience at Lillette's, that's where I bought my gown. We are working with Carol -- she has the patience of a saint!!!
I also had a great experience at Beautiful Bride in Lynbrook.

I got mine at Paradise Bridal and Rosanne helped she was amazing! I got the BMs dresses at Bridal Suite in Centereach and they were very helpful with my evil maids!!!!
