I need a private room for 25 people in NYC that is Chic and Modern..like a wine bar.. but private ..for a wedding shower.. a lot of the places are TOO LARGE... I like Uva, but it;s kind of shabby.. any thoughts?

Thanks! We tried Elizabeth, and they start at 40 people.. we have 25 or less.. I will look into the others thanks so much! if you think of any more let me know!

Maybe Katwalk? I went to a birthday party there a few years ago, I'm not sure if there is a minimum or not.

The Smith, or Wined Up both have rooms you can rent.

Hey! Check out Party Rooms they can cater to many specific needs regarding look/feel and tailor to any number of people and any type of event. Also check out Astor Center I think the smallest evet setting is the lounge which seats a capacity of 80 but worth checking out for that wine bard type feel. Hope this helps. Best of luck

BTW, went to Jane in West Village today for brunch and inquired about shower---they hold a max of 40 pp and its a really cute room! I love the Smith too (I'm having my RD there!) but that is a much bigger venue.
