Can anyone recommend any sites near the hamptons? My fiancee and I would like to get married out in Long Ilsand and we both know the Hamptons. We dont' want to have it too far out east so it is easier for people to get to. We were hoping to find a place in West hampton, Quogue, Hampton Bays...etc. ANy suggestions?

Re: Wedding sites near Hamptons
The Atlantica is beaufiful. It is located in Westhampton. Another site that offers a wedding weekend is the Crow's nest in Montauk. Check out their websites. Atlantica.com Crowsnest.com Good luck! I am having mine in Southampton @ The Elk's Club. It's reasonably priced, $38.50 pp. including alcohol. The reception hall has a gorgeous chandlier. The food is great and it is enabling us to have the band we want without putting us in debt.

Re: Wedding sites near Hamptons
I visited the Atlantica and really liked it - It is a beautiful setting. But . . . there are a few things you should know about them. They charge differently for every day of the year. For example, each Saturday in May will be a different price. They are also a little pricey - The affordable menu didn't include a cocktail hour (just a cheese table). The only menu with enough food (my family and friends are big eaters) was too expensive for us (well over $100 for an April, May, Sept., or Oct. date). They also require 1/3 of your total to book the date. That was too difficult for us - We wanted to book early and I could afford to just hand over about $9000 right off the bat. I have heard some people on the boards say the place looks rundown but I didn't really think so. They had some junk laying around on the side of the building but I don't think anyone would notice that. I decided to go with someplace else but, if you can afford it, Atlantica seems like a really nice place to have a wedding. Hope this helps -

Try the Inn at Quogue. I hear it's really nice and it's not too far out.
Atlantica is beautiful, we looked at it for ur recption/wedding but its very expensive and the dance floor is so small!

Have you checked out any of the wineries on the north fork? Raphael is out-of-this-world, but there are several that do weddings now. My sister was married at a winery and it was very cool.
