Me and FH are having a hard time picking a wedding song. We want to pick a song that is unique and is not like other than the typical songs that everybody picks. I am not sure where to look...

We just googled wedding songs and list after list we listened to it on you tube and looked at the lyrics. We found one.... but are still open if something else comes along.Two great ones i have heard lately are Tangled up in you by sting
the other is a Santana song 'why don't you and I get together take on the world and be together forever'
sorry I am horrible with song names.

My friends had Tangled in You but it was by Staind. We dont have a song either, but I have a few in mind that I want my FH to hear.

I am having the same problem. This is a conversation that goes on at my home every night. I want something that is a little fast like Michael Buble - Everything and he wants something from the 80's like Hall and Oates!!! Eww! He has got to stop with Darryl Hall and John Oates!
Over the weekend I spent time on iTunes going through artists that I like and found a few that we are putting on the side in a 'Wedding Song' file to decide. Maybe start that way and you might find something that you both like.

we had the same problem. i played about 40 songs for him & he shrugged off almost every one. Then we finally picked one-God Bless this Broken Road and we went to a wedding a couple of weeks later & BAM, that was their song so back to the drawing board. When you hear 'THE' song, you'll know. We ended up picking 3 more until settling on our song. We both wanted to get the chills when we heard it & when we did, we knew it was it. Good luck.

We're using Aerosmith's 'Angel.'
Definitely not a typical wedding song, but it has meaning to FH and I. It goes back to our very first date.

We are using Louis Armstrong singing 'La Vie en Rose' which means the beautiful life. Here are the lyrics.

We used 'Everything' by Michael Buble. Not super popular but not totally out-of-the-box either. I always thought I'd have a slow and sappy song, but I loved the one we chose. HTH!
