since I'm not exactly getting quality work done today, help me pick the singer of our wedding song.
After much thought, discussion, and one long winded anti elvis rant by me - we decided on 'to make you feel my love' (which actually sounds naughty now that I see it in writing)
the thing is the FH and I are having a playful stand off with who should do the singing. He likes the Garth Brooks version (its slightly more romantic) I, on the other hand, think if we are both from LI, there is no question that it should be Billy Joels version.
But I would take Billy Joels version of anything.
We figured it we can't agree we would have to go with the Kelly Clarkson version... which is weaker than the other two.
What do you think?

Definiately the Garth Brooks version. My friend had that as her wedding song. I was toying with it for a while, but decided against using the song just cuz she's my MOH and I wanted to be original. But if I had to choose, I would def. pick the Garth Brooks version.

And, although, I adore Billy - my preference is Garth Brooks for this particular song.
Have you heard the Trisha Yearwood version?

No but I'm downloading it today - I didnt know she did one too.
I could have swore that Harry Conick Jr. did one also - but we couldn't find it.

Alright dont even think about the Kelly Clarkson version!
I would go with the Garth Brooks one personally...
Its a great song!
Although it reminds me of a guy who was in love with me in college - he put it on a mix tape for me.

I love the way Garth Brooks sings that song... if the competition was anyone but billy, I'd vote for him. But, I LOOOOOVVVVEEE Billy Joel and gotta vote with my heart. Go with the LI'er!

Garth Brooks hands down.. But wait.. Isn't there a duet??? I could be wrong.. I think on the Central Park CD... Billy plays piano sings background and Garth sings main vocals.. could be another song.. But that would be an awesome compromise.

The Garth versions is more touching. Although I love the Billy one, for me it is a little too 'drummy' , too much drum action towards the end.

TOTALLY GARTH for this song! I love Billy Joel also but Garth all the way for this song!
