just curious what everyone's wedding song is going to be....
i think we're using bryan adams- i'll always be right there...it's sweet and simple and no one uses it ever!! in fact, probably most of you don't even know it. it pretty much sums us up too.

Whats the difference between a spotlight dance and your first dance?? I thought it was the same?

First dance is your wedding song and your first dance together of the night
Spotlight dance is your first dance together after the cake cutting.

eta. also usually the first dance you dance alone

but the spotlight dance other couples are asked to join you

At Last by Etta James or Shania Twain's Forever and Always not sure! ( for Spotlight)

For our first song (we are doing something different), we are going to strat up the party as we enter and dance to 'My First, My Last, My Everything' by Barry White!

Our spotlight song is going to be 'By your Side' by Sade.

As far as we know were choosing 'I Love You Just The Way Are' by Billy Joel for our first dance or 'Ribbon In The Sky' by Stevie Wonder

Our Wedding Song is 'The Power of Love' By: Celine Dion

I didn't put too much thought into a Spotlight Dance but I'd like a male voice for it since our song is by a female. Just my own personal weirdness. I gotta ask him what he wants.

By the way....to answer a previous post...I think Shania Twains 'from this moment' is a wonderful song.

I'm hoping to convince fiance to do the Edwin McCain song (Could Not Ask For More)... something about it since the first time I heard it just felt like an amazing wedding song and sums up how I feel when I'm with him. I also like this song that I always hear at weddings but I still like it, I think it may be called 'Just You and I'.

I think his votes will be Endless Love. Hey, at the end of it all, I'm sure we can dance together to all 3 : )

Any of the 'second wives' out there know of good stepson/stepmom songs that I can dance with him with (pending his mom allows him to even come of course)?
