wedding songs

I FINALLLLLLLY picked out my wedding song which took forever us to agree on. So I meet with the DJ and he suggest I also have a 2nd first dance song since my bridal party is kind of big and he wants us to enjoy our first dance. SOO now I have to find another one. The music and my hubby like aren't good wedding songs and I am having a hard time finding another song. Any suggestions?? What are some of the songs you girls are using? My first song is by Sade 'by your side'

first of all... you dont have to have your bridal party dance with you during your first song.
in fact i was told that a lot of couples are opting to not do that.

so for your second song... you could pick a song that is more 'YOU' and invite everyone to join you.

FH and I narrowed it down to 3 songs and we are trying to figure out which one out of the 3. As far as the bridal party dance goes we are probally going to do Could Not Ask For More by Edwin McCain.

i agree, you don't have to have your bridal party join during the first dance, i dont see that often anymore

just us two are dancing, i wouldnt even start stressing about a 2nd song-(every evening for the past 3 weeks fh & i have the convo about our song, so far only one agreed upon but its so queer! agggghhhh! LOL!)

we are keeping our first dance to ourselves- so everyone is going to have to suffer through our horribe moves--lol

our 2nd song will probably be amazed by lonestar (1st sone we danced to together). or bon jovi- thank you for loving me.

Interestingly enough, FH had a song in mind from since we were dating. Unchained Melodies by the Righteous Brothers.

One less headache for me to deal with. But we're not inviting the BP to join us.

You know what song I LOVE?? Crash by Dave Matthew's Band....FH isn't into that kind of music...I like every kind of music...but anyway, do you think FH would like that?

We are def not having our bridal party dance with us during our first dance.

I hadn't thought about a song to play right after it. I am thinking of something fun and upbeat to get the crowd going a little........maybe I will leave it up to the MOH to decide, she loves to think of things like this.
