Wedding Stress has hit!!!!!!!!

Oh my God I am getting so pi**ed and fed up with things. 3 things today have put me in the most horrible mood

1) FI asks me to call our travel agent to give her our flight info and just ask a couple of questions we had. I call the travel agency....they cant find our file!!!!! Now I'm freaking out because they screwed up our booking in the beginning BIG TIME (I wanted to go with the travel agency I used to work with but the owner of the agency we are using gave us a big discount because of the screw up)

2) Been calling my priest for months to ask him some questions, wouldnt take him more than 2 minutes to answer, wont return my call. FI calls the parish office (incidently he was an alter boy there, worked in the office and lives directly across the street from this church) today and tells the secretary that he doesnt want Father ______ to perform the wedding because he cant return phone calls, and that we will find our own priest....WHAT????? Who the hell are we going to get?

3) And finally Mom calls me up crying, that her boss, whom my Mother has been telling for over a year now that she needs the week of July 14th off, tells her that she can't have it because she gave one manager off the first two weeks in July and the other manager the last two weeks in July, leaving my mother out.

It may seem like nothing but its truly stressful. Just had to vent.

I'm sorry things really seem sh***y right now. breath and I'm sure you'll make it through. Let us know how it goes

Sorry to hear but relax.. as for the travel agent, call them up and tell them it's UNACCEPTABLE for them to have lost your file and make them do fix it and add more stuff or SOMETHING.. and get a confirmation and an itinerary sent to you ASAP.. that's BS

second, did they say WHY the priest has not called you back?

Third, as for your mom that is completely f u c k ed up!! what is she going to do?

Marcella: The travel agent is supposed to call me back this afternoon, I'll give her until 2:00 and then I'm calling and ripping her a new one As for Father Missing-in-Action, the secretary said that he is very busy......ok I can understand that but for 4 months?? My Mom's problem is bothering me the most though, I have no idea what she is going to do, have to keep you posted on that.

Sorry about the stress ...I'd be flipping out myself - your mom should be screaming her head off, going to the other managers and telling one of them to change their plans or call a temp or train someone to fill in while she's out...there's plenty of time and besides - its not your mom's fault they screwed up -a years notice is more than enough!

And your travel agent should be paying for your HM!

Some people are just plain jerks. What can be more important than giving someone off on their daughter's wedding week?!

FMIL called the church today (she has donated EXTENSIVELY), as soon as they heard her name, the priest picked up immediately. He made an appointment for us for Sunday at 11:30 to discuss our questions.

And Mom got her vacation One of the managers who requested off gave up that week for her

Here's a story that might make you feel better: My FSIL had asked for about 2 weeks vacation for her wedding/HM about 1.5 years before her wedding. 6 months before her wedding her manager told her that she couldn't have any vacation at that time b/c of inventory or something. My FSIL found a much better job and left the unreasonable one...
