I think its fine to order those things as long as you have a good place to store them and that you don't forget about having them

I don't think there's anything wrong with getting that stuff now. The worst thing is having so many big things to do close to the date of your wedding, but being help up by little things. Get them over with!

Nothing wrong with that! I plan to start shopping around for all the little details throughout the summer, and I'll probably have some DIY projects as well. Better to get it done and store them somewhere safe than to scurry around last-minute in the weeks prior to your wedding!

If you find great prices, I say go for it. I've been ordering things like crazy this week also and it's only Wednesday. So far, I've ordered shoes, flutes, cake server set, and some materials for my diy projects.

If you're ordering online, go to couponcabin.com; retailmenot.com; or slickdeals.net to get coupon codes. So far, I've received free shipping and % off using these sites.

i think as long as you don't keep looking around for different options you should be fine. after i buy something, i stop looking online.

Its hard to resist the urge... I don't think its too late. There is only so much you can do once your vendors are booked. Its like waves of booking excitement.... lol. HOWEVER, I've seen that the last few weeks can be hectic.... so the more you can do now...the better.

Re: Wedding Supplies

I would order them... I've ordered things and done many DIY projects that are so ahead of schedule, but i'd rather get them out of the way. Also, in my mind I keep saying prices are going to only go up, so save $ and get things now when I find good deals. Also, what if I can't find what I saw now in a few months... As long as it's something you know you want, you have room to store it, & you won't forget about it... I vote for go ahead and order it.

If you really think it is something you will change your mind about, then maybe wait or if you want, double check return policies and see if you can return them later on.

There is only 1 thing I wish I would have waited on b/c I found something that would have been just as good and cheaper, but in the long run, I realized, it doesn't matter, the original ones will be perfect anyway and no one will know about the 'could have had' option so they can't judge what I got either.

Hope this helps
